The Amgen Commercial Data Science team is looking for an accomplished analytical leader with the ability to influence executive-level audiences and deliver robust data and statistical analysis of our marketing investment performance.Analyze marketing performance data, using Python, R, or similar languages with numerical and scientific libraries for statistical analysis (eg, Pandas, NumPy, scikit, etc.

)Design and analyze marketing experiments applying causal inference and hypothesis testing techniques to find opportunities for scaling or optimizing our investment allocationLead all aspects of the execution of Marketing Mix and Marketing Attribution Models to measure ROI of core marketing activitiesExecute scenario planning and project outcomes of investment decisions across the portfolioPrepare and effectively communicate business recommendations to executives and business partnersCollaborate with several cross-functional partners (eg, Marketing, Media, Finance, etc.) to help build marketing budgets that improves brand strategical objectivesWinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related experienceORMaster's degree and 4 years of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related experienceORBachelor's degree and 6 years of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related experienceORAssociate's degree and 10 years of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related experienceORHigh school diploma/GED and 12 years of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related experiencePreferred Qualifications:Strong background in leveraging query languages (SQL) to clean, transform, and prepare data using cloud computing platforms (eg, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)Good understanding of statistical analysis concepts such as Causal Inference, Bayesian statistics, Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing etc.Strong planning skills for simultaneously managing multiple large and complex projects.

Track record of interpreting and communicating analytical insights to non-technical audience using clear and concise language.Advanced expertise using statistical analysis libraries in languages like Python, and R.Expertise in pharmaceutical data sets, such as prescriber-plan data, patient-level data, transactional claims, etc.
