OverviewPacific Retirement Services is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to develop and sustain a high-performing sales culture and strategic direction for our portfolio of life plan communities. You will work closely with sales teams and Executive Directors for each location to ensure sales goals and objectives are met, sales teams are properly trained, and community sales and marketing plans are effective and responsive to customer feedback.

This position reports directly to our Cheif Operating Officer (COO).

This is a remote position requiring significant travel to all communities within our portfolio. What You'll Do: Maintain a deep understanding of the key selling points of each community, the product being sold, and the pricing structure, and make recommendations on ways to make the product more attractive to current and future customers. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to community sales staff by providing ongoing performance feedback, establishing success metrics and reporting, developing incentive plans and providing training and onboarding for sales employees.

Monitor price trends and customer feedback about price and make actionable recommendations to operators during the budget process and throughout the year.Contribute to the development of the annual sales and marketing budget for each affiliate and managed community and work with each community to implement and manage the budget.Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of each community's sales & marketing plan and make improvement recommendations to local sales teams and marketing partners.

Implement and manage sales technology (such as the CRM) to increase productivity and stay informed on sales tech and sales management trends.Direct the completion of sales enablement material and collaborate with corporate marketing, local teams, and external partners to create an effective marketing program, including collateral materials, marketing messaging, marketing automation, website copy, and more.Act as a liaison between senior corporate management team and the field operations team to ensure organizational alignment between sales and operations.

Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure Policies and Procedures are being executed by the sales teams.Provide sales support as needed when the community has an open sales position or during the recruitment process of new communities.We're in the business of taking care of others, and want our employees to feel supported in all aspects of life.

Salary: $210,000 - $265,000/yr DOE + incentive compensationWe want to set you up for success, so we make sure relationship building, training and development, and high quality service are part of our everyday mentality. Here's what you'll need to be successful leader in this role; Preferred candidates will currently reside in Oregon, California or Texas and will be willing to travel up to 75% for this regional role.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Master's Degree in a related field preferred. Minimum five (5) years of extensive sales and marketing experience in senior living preferably with Life Plan Community/Continuing Care Community contracts, rental contracts, etc. Exceptional presentation and communication skills in front of executive leadership, teams, and boards exhibiting a strong sense of professionalism and influence.

Prior progressive leadership experience in a similar setting including budgeting, program development, performance management, discipline and management of staff. Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, CRM databases and business applications. Valid driver's license and insurable by the designated carrier.
