You will get to develop and lead a team of Regional Directors and a Regional Director, Strategic Accounts to achieve sales goals while selling a premium molecular diagnostic product line into target markets. This position is part of the Account Direct sales department, and this will be a remote position with a preference for the eastern half of the United States withaccess to an airport. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Be Responsible for the sales performance of the area, and coach sales leaders on key influences for developing sales personnel to accelerate sales wins in hospitals, labs, and health systems.Interpret sales data analytics and market insights in order to translate them into actionable strategies for the area sales team.Direct, inspire, coach, and motivate Regional Directors and sales representatives to accomplish sales goals.

Hire, assess, coach, and develop high-quality sales leaders and recommend changes as necessary.Facilitate opportunities for the team's ongoing professional development, coordinate training events for sales personnel within Area, and oversee the introduction of new testing concepts and products into target markets.Collaborate with sales and FAS leadership to execute winning region-specific sales plans, and work with Executive Leadership and Marketing to provide market insights.

Manage large strategic contract negotiations.Provides consistent field interaction and communication to ensure the company's message is clearly communicated; connects with and coordinates between key customers and internal/external stakeholders to promote and expand business opportunities.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience OR Master's/Doctoral degree with 12+ years of experience AND 4+ years managing peopleAbility to travel 60% of the time.

Strong track record of success in both capital equipment and reagent sales.Expertise selling premium products.Expertise with multi-departmental sales.

Experience and success selling to physicians, laboratory professionals, infection control staff and hospital administration.Skilled using a CRM application such as Salesforce.com.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:DBS Growth Tool (or similar) experience preferredExperience planning and driving new product launch strategies in conjunction with Product Marketing.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
